| "I
was born and raised in a Catholic, farmers family in
Jamestown, ND. I was 7th of 8 children.
While I appreciated the ethics with which I was raised, I always felt and saw things more intensely and differently, which seemed to single me out as "wierd".

| I grew up feeling like a purple horse trying to make it in a field of brown horses. This sensation went with me into adulthood and my only respite from this isolated feeling would happen when I was creating. Not having had any formal art education, even in school, my attentions were directed to decorating interior spaces which seemed to keep my restlessness at bay. | ![]() |
At the age of 42 I took my first art class, and it was at this time that I had the sensation that I had come "home" and was allowed to have a voice. While I continue to work as an Interior Designer ( presently for Home Depot ) my creative muse is no longer satisfied with that, so I have opened the door to her so that she can flow thru me. I love to create bright colored market scenes in oil, play with glass beads, but most of all I am passionate about spirit masks where I truly feel the sensation of being led by the spirit.
